## Key facts

- Deployment: installed on the customer's own servers (on-premises). Cloud and container environments are also supported; the customer decides which.
- Data handling: under an on-premises configuration, biometric data does not leave the customer environment. What is stored is feature data for matching, not the original photograph.
- Engines: face and palm authentication engines are developed in-house. Recognition, liveness, indexing and compression are all built by the company.
- Modes: 1:N matching (who is this person within an enrolled population) and 1:1 verification (does this person own this account) run inside the same server.
- Liveness: RGB passive liveness. It runs on ordinary colour cameras with no infrared hardware, and the user does not have to blink or turn their head.
- Integration: site systems call one documented REST API. Integration work is carried out by the customer or their SI partner, working from the specification.
- Scope boundary: the returned value is the identity result. Opening a door, approving a payment and updating a member record are done by the customer's systems.
- Accuracy: 99.97% under KISA certification testing, measured under accredited test conditions. Field numbers move with camera specification, lighting and enrolment image quality.
- Scale: 400M+ face database, 1:N search response under one second on the server side.
- Video products: VCA and AI BOX connect over ONVIF and RTSP, so camera brand does not matter and cameras are not replaced. An existing VMS is kept in place and runs alongside.
- Edge compression: AI BOX reduces footage by about 85% beside the camera, covers 4 channels per box, and needs no central GPU server.
- Certifications: KISA face recognition accuracy testing, iBeta liveness presentation-attack testing, GS (Good Software) Grade 1 for 'UNIVS AI Guard', ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and public procurement registration in Korea.
- Track record: 20 deployments across 5 countries.
- Terminals: GATE is authentication software, not a terminal. A separate product line (POS) covers the device itself; EMV and PCI PTS certification for it is planned.
